You have the diagnosis. Now you need a plan for work.
For adults diagnosed elsewhere, often after a brief telehealth assessment and a short report, who now face the harder question of what to do at work. Workplace strategy with Dr. Burgoyne, built on the diagnosis you already have.
The strategy, without starting over.
Built on your existing diagnosis
- ✓ Review of your existing evaluation report and records
- ✓ A 90-minute workplace intake interview with Dr. Burgoyne
- ✓ Workplace functional profile built from your report and interview
- ✓ Accommodation request letter in two versions
- ✓ Disclosure decision plan
- ✓ Two 60-minute strategy consultations
- ✓ 30-day check-in after your documents are delivered
Usually. Here is how to tell.
Send your report before the free consultation, and Dr. Burgoyne will tell you plainly which path fits.
Usually enough
- A diagnosis from a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or physician.
- A written report that names the diagnosis.
- Some description of how it affects your daily functioning.
When a full evaluation fits better
- A screener result or a brief note, without a written report.
- A diagnosis an employer or licensing board has already questioned.
- Real doubt about whether autism, ADHD, or something else explains your experience. The Clarity Evaluation answers that first.
Four to six weeks, start to finish.

- Week 2
Documents drafted
Your functional profile, accommodation letter in both versions, and disclosure plan.
- Weeks 2–6
Two strategy consultations
Make the decision, refine the documents, and prepare for the conversation.
- Day 30
Check-in
Adjust the plan to what actually happened.
Questions, answered directly.
Do you need my previous report?
Yes. The work is built on a documented diagnosis, so please send the report, or the clearest records you have, before the free consultation.
Can you write an accommodation letter if you did not diagnose me?
Yes. The letter rests on your documented diagnosis plus Dr. Burgoyne's own interview about your functional needs at work, and it names the original evaluation as the basis for the diagnosis.
What if my report does not hold up?
Then Dr. Burgoyne will say so at the consultation, before you pay anything, and explain whether the Clarity Evaluation or Clarity at Work is the better path.
Do I have to tell my employer?
No. Many clients never do. The documents are yours, and the strategy work exists to help you choose among real options: disclosing the diagnosis, requesting accommodations without naming it, or making changes you control and deciding later. There is no right answer, only an informed one.
Is a strategy consultation the same as therapy?
No. Strategy consultations are focused, practical sessions about decisions at work: what to disclose, what to ask for, how to say it, and what to do if the response is poor. If ongoing therapy would serve you better, Dr. Burgoyne will say so and refer you.
You already have the answer. Now make a plan.
Fifteen minutes, no pressure: whether your existing diagnosis supports the strategy work, and what it would look like for your role.
